The pie chart illustarte the proportion of three types of book sale (fiction, non-fiction, children’s books and 2 others) in a bookshop during a specific year. The figures are presented in percentages. Overall, fiction and non fiction accounted for over half of other books sales while the least was from others books. Fiction books had the largest proportion wheras the remaining presented the smallest percentages of the total sales.
Looking at the details, Fiction and non-fiction books are a two largest category of the sale. Fiction books was the dominant category, accountingfor 35% of the total transactions.This was followed by non-fiction, which is one forth of the total sales of the year.
Turning to the remaining three categories, children’s book and two othersmade up 40% of the total sale. Children’s book accounted for 20%, while rest of the two types represents 10% and 5% of the total sale. The difference between these categories was relatively small. Overall, the gap between the largest and smallest categories was significant.
