The table shows the inhabitants of six different areas alongside the total population of the world from the year 0 to 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that there was a surge in the total population of Earth, with Asia being the largest contributor to the sharp increase. The greatest increase can be observed between the years 1500 and 2000 for all the areas around the globe. Additionally, North and South America, Africa, Oceania and Asia’s residents gradually increased while Europe’s and the Middle East’s inhabitants fluctuated throughout the years.
In Europe, there was a decrease in the citezens from the year 0 to 500 followed by a gradual rise until the year 1500 after which it soared. Conversely, in the Middle East, a climb occured in the population led by a dip in the years 0-1000. In 1500, the population increased from 10.2 to 17.7 and then jumped to 241.8 in the year 2000.
Oceania’s residency remained stable in the years 0-500 and gradually increased till 1500 after which, like the rest, it experienced a soar in population.
