Overall, both industries experienced an upward trend, with the IT sector consistently contributing a larger share than the service industry.
In 1992, the IT industry accounted for approximately 6% of GDP. This figure rose steadily to about 8% in 1994 and then continued increasing significantly, reaching around 12% in 1996. By 2000, the IT industry peaked at nearly 15%, more than double its initial value.
Similarly, the service industry also showed growth, although at a slower rate.
It began at 4% in 1992 and gradually rose to just over 6% by 1996.By 2000, it reached 8%, remaining consistently lower than the IT industry throughout the period.
