It can be clearly seen that the proportion of underground railways, trains, walk and cars experienced a downward trend, but it still dominated the highest figures over the period, as opposed to the downfall of the others.
Looking at the pie charts in more detail, In terms of modes of transport, which were used more prevalently, the percentage of both Underground railways and cars witnessed a marginal drop of 4% over twenty years, which was 34% and 19% respectively, while the figure for trains was fairly stable over the timeframe given, at 23%.Meanwhile, the percentage of walking fluctuated to reach its highest figure in 2000(10%).
As regards means of transport, which was less ubiquitous in London, the proportion of bicycles was 4% in 1990, which then recorded a moderate jump to hit a mere 10% in 2010. Additionally, the percentage of motorcycles remained steady speed with an insignificant 5% in a 20-year period.
