The given bar chart illustrates how many smartphones, laptops and tablets were bought through online platforms in the First Quarter of 2019.
Overall, there was an increase in the sales of laptops and smartphones after period; meanwhile the opposite was true for tablets. March witnessed the largest number of tablets and smartphones which were sold.
In January, around 50 million units of smartphones were consumed. This data was followed by tablets’ sales at 30 units which was about 12 higher than smartphones’ ones. February witnessed a relative downward trend in online sales of laptops; while tablets’ consumption increased ramarkably to over 60 units, following by smartphones’ sales at 45%.
Next month, after decreasing moderately to around 22 units, laptops’ sales soared sharply to one-half in April. At the same period, tablets’ consumption declined to nearly 30 before being the highest point at over 60 in March. The similar updown trend was experienced for smartphones’ sales, from 73 to 40 units.
