Two maps display an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and proposed plans for its future development.
Overall, the current industrial area, which is primarily occupied by factories will undergo significant transformation, with new housing facilities and infrastructure to improve accessibility and service in the area.
Currently, the area of the zone includes a central roundabout surrounded by factories; a river flowing across the map and separating the farmland from the industrial area. The main road extends from the south of the roundabout.
In the proposed plan, the factories will be replaced with new facilities, including residential buildings. A second roundabout will be added to the south, connecting with the main road and the central roundabout. And a new bridge will be constructed to cross the river, providing access to farmland and new facilities. Moreover, other new facilities around the main roundabout will include recreational places such as a playground and shops. Along with these novel developments, a medical centre and a school will be built in the south and east parts of the map, respectively.
