The maps illustrate the current layout of an industrial area in the town of Norbiton and a proposed plan for its future development.Overall, the Norbition Industrial area will be undergone various transformations with the addition of residential and commercial facilities ,and educational facilities aslo developed.
At present,the factories are dominated ,along the central roundabout and the road extending the east side, with a main road connecting it to the town on left-hand side.The river in the north of roundabout,separating large field into 2 part encompassing industrial area and farmland.
In the proposed future development,most of factories will be demolished to make way for accommodation.In addition, a new bridge which is contructed across the river to allow expansion in housing. Shops and medical centre will be introduced around the roundabout which is positioned in the rear of map.Besides, a school is planned to be erected in the east side,adjacent to the playground .
