The chart gives the information on the percent proportion of British people from different age groups that donate money to the charity during the year 1990 and 2010.
Overall, British people aged between 36-50 donated most money in the year 1990, while the largest proportion in 2010 was the age group of 51-65 and the least amount was given by the youngest age group in both years
Looking at the youngest age group (18-25), the rate was around 17% in 1990, then it declined to 7% in the end of the given period. A relatively similar trend can be seen on the second youngest age group with just above 30% of them give money to charity in the first given year and the figure decreased considerably in 2010. As for British people aged between 36 and 50, the percent was around 42% in 1990 which was significantly higher than the remaining age categories. The figure dropped to 35% in the year 2010.
Regarding other age categories, 35% of British people aged between 51-65 donated their money to charity in 1990, whereas the rate went up to around 40% in 2010. Lastly, approximately 32% of the oldest British people give money to charity in 1990, then the proportion increased to 35% in the end of the given time period.
