Overall, the trend of people inhabited in cities is continouisly increases in all countries and will continously increases in coming decade. A large number of malaysian people like to live in cities and will follow the upward trend in the future also.
Almost 13% of the indonasian people live in cities in 1970. With a slight upward extend in coming years, it reached upto 30% in 2000 and gradually follow the incline in the next two decades. About 60% indonesian peolpe will in cities in 2040. Furthermore, Thailand initail urban population was about 19%, which touched the ranges of 30% in 1990. A slight incline and stability was seen in the trend till 2010 but a sudden uplift can be seen from 2020 to 2040, which reaches to almost 60% in the near future.
Moreover, 30% of phillipine population was city inhibited in 1970 which suddenly extend to 49% in 1990. This sudden uplift experience a downfall to 40% in 2010 and again following the platue increase in population upto 55% in 2040. Malaysia is considered the most rapidly populated country of Asia. Its population was about 30% in 1970, which gradually increases to 45% in next twenty years.
