The line graph gives information about the emissions of acid rain in UK, measured in millions of tonns, from four types of elements such as transport and communication, electricity, gas and water supply, domestic and other industries from 1990 to 2007.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that throughout the period, most of sectors have a downward trend, excepted transport and communication.
The number of electricity, gas and water supply about acid rain peaked the highest point, at nearly 3.5 million tonnes in 1991, then it had a significant decrease and stood at 0.5 million tonnes in 2007. Furthermore, other industries also has a dramatical drop from over 2 million tonns to approxiamtely 1.5 million tonns during the period.
Domestic, transport and communication accounted the lowest number of acid rain emissions. The amount of those in domestic reduced slightly from over 0.5 million tonns to nearly 0 million tonns. While the amount of transport and communication remained stable over the period.
