Generally speaking, the year with the most Japanese travellers was 1995 with a total, approximately 15 million citizens who had travelled overseas, with a 10 million difference when it was in 1985. As for Japan’s visitors in Australia, the highest peak was in 1993 with approximately 6.3%, and its lowest was in 1985 with just 2%. Additionally, there was a fluctuation between 1887 and 1990 also a slight slip-back in the year 1994.
A specific analysis reveals that the amount of Japanese tourists journeying abroad in 1885-1887 had constant movement likewise their percentage in visiting Australia which rose from 2% to 4% in 3 years. But, even though general Japanese visitors had gradual change between 1987 and 1990, likewise in 1985-1987, there was a fluctuation in Japanese voyagers that visited Australia in those years, its ups were in 1988 and 1990 with total 4.5%, and had slightly declined in 1989.
