Dear John,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to apologize to you.

To begin with, I had planned to meet you last week; unfortunately, I was unable to do so due to some personal commitments and time constraints. I sincerely apologize for not being able to reach you as planned.

Furthermore, I came here for my passport verification and had intended to meet you at the nearest café before heading to the passport office. I did not contact you because I wanted it to be a surprise meeting, but unfortunately, it did not happen. Additionally, I had already booked my train ticket in advance.

Finally, I would like to meet you soon. Therefore, I propose that we meet this upcoming weekend at SMS Restaurant at 11:00 AM. I will make all the arrangements to ensure your comfort. Please let me know once you read this letter. I am looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Aravind
