This line graph shows the per capital public transport use in Australian cities between the year 1900 up to 2010. This includes the cities from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
In the line graph, the per capital public transport use in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane increase dramatically up to year 1940 compared to Perth. At the first glance, it is clear that the Sydney had the large increase compared to the given cities, it has an upward trend from 1990 up to 1940, then decrease gradually in just 4 years which is the year 1980. By the year 1990 it increased gradually again until the year 2010. For the second to the highest given city, which is the Melbourne have the same increased as the Sydney up to 1940, then decreased gradually in the year 1980, both 1970 and 1990 remained the same capital. Then in the following year it climbs again. In the city of Brisbane which is the green line, hit also the peak which also the year 1940 same to the cities mentioned earlier. The year 1980 is also the rock bottom of Brisbane, which received a 110 per capital in that year. As the year goes by until the year 2010 it increased gradually and received a per capital of 200 in that year. Lastly, the city of Perth, it has a moderately increase, starting from year 1990 up to 1930 unlike the three cities, the year 1920 and 1940 receives the same capital of 40. Over the next previous years it dramatically increased until it reached its highest point which is the year 2010.
In conclusion, the cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane has the same upsurge in the year 1980 where they reached the highest point. While the city of Perth increased moderately in the following year but reach its highest point in the year 2010.
