Dear Kelvin,
I hope you’re doing well. I truly appreciate your offer for me to become a partner in your business.
I believe opening a restaurant on the main highway is a smart decision. Although there are a few cafés in the area, I’ve noticed that there aren’t any full-service restaurants. The area is always bustling with activity and the absence of other restaurant s nearby means there’s less competition, which gives you a strong advantage.
That said, after careful consideration, I’ve decided not to move forward with the partnership at this time due to financial difficulties.
As you know, I’m the only person in my family who is working, which comes with many responsibilities. Additionally, I recently spent a significant amount of money on my sister’s wedding, which has put me under some financial strain. I’m sure you’ll understanding my situation. Please know that I remain fully supportive of your venture, and I’m always here if you’d like to talk or need help in any way.
Wishing you the very best of luck. I have no doubt your business will thrive, and look forward to seeing your success.
Warm regards,
Mai
