I am writing to express sincerest apologies for not being able to be with you on your special day as well as the light shedding on the reasons for my absence.
As a friend, I fully understand that I should have been the first one who congratulates you and be a shoulder mate to organize your party. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn’t able to attend one of the most important days of your life which I am truly sorry.
To be specific about the reasons, it was the unexpected accident that prevented me from being at the party. In other words, according to my plan, I was supposed to purchase a present from the city, but I was informed that my mum had been in hospital because of the car crash. While rushing to the hospital, I totally forgot to inform you the situation that I couldn’t take part in it.
To rectify the situation, I am willing to invite you to my house to apologize for my bad. Indeed, it has been a long time since we had fun together. So, while we are enjoying the dishes made by sweetheart wife, we will be able to talk about the staff we are doing these days.
Once again, I appreciate your patience and understanding in this disappointment that I may have made by not being with you that day.
