The line graph illustrates the percentages of online shopping including browsing, researching and purchasing by time-of-day in a weekday in 2015, which divided by different age.
Overall, highest number of digital shopping was at 6pm-before 8pm except 60+years and lowest was at before 9am. However, 60+ years old used e-shopping most at 9am-before 12pm.
The percentages of digital platform shopping by 16-24 years increased significantly from about 5% at before 9am to around 30% at 6pm-before 8pm. After that, it experienced a minimal decline to approximately 15% by end of the day. On the other hand, The percentages of electronic shopping by 25-34 years rised slightly from arount 5% at before 9am to about 18% at 12pm-before 2pm, before it dropped to around 15% at 2pm-before 4pm. Then, it experienced a rapid grow to arount 33%, before it fall to around 12% at last 6 hours. Following this, 35-44 years old purchased in online rose slightly from arount 5% at before 9am to about 15% at 12pm-before 2pm, while it experienced a slight declined tom approximately 12% at 4pm-before 6pm. Then it increased to around 30% at 8pm – before 10pm, before it dropped to about 10% by the end of the period. Moreover, the percentages used internet-based shopping grew slightly from nearly 5% at before 9am to around 13% at 9am-before 12pm. After that, It was fluctuated untill 2pm- before 4pm but than it experience a sharp rise to 20% at 6pm- before 8pm. While again it decreased to about 8% at the end. The percentages of web-based shopping share by 60+ years grew massivly from approximately 4% at before 9am to nearly 17% at 9pm- before 12pm, before it experienced a sharp drop to around 3% by the end of the day.
