Dear Pat,
I hope this message finds you in great spirits. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for hosting me over the weekend; I truly enjoyed our time together and would love to have you at my place next time!
Unfortunately, I have some unfortunate news to share. Upon returning home today, I realized I had left my coat at your house. Since the weather was lovely during my visit, I didn’t wear it, and I believe I hung it on the hook in the guest room where I stayed. It’s a long navy blue coat with a classic design and distinctive golden buttons. I would be grateful if you could check to see if it’s still there.
Inside the pockets, I have a couple of important items: my work ID badge, which I need for identification, and I may have also left my camera in there as well. The ID badge is particularly urgent for me to retrieve.
If possible, would you mind sending the coat to me via courier? Of course, I will gladly reimburse you with some of my mom’s delicious cookies that you love! Thank you for your help.
I truly appreciated the weekend, and I can’t wait to catch up again soon.
Warm regards,
Fatima.
