From the given flow chart we can visualise various effects of deforestation and that how each cause further has its own chain of consequences.
If we look at the beginnging of the flow chart we can clearly see that cutting of forests that is deforestation can lead to compression of soil and less retainment of moisture in the air also increased forest burn and lastly lesser grasp of the top soil by the roots. These are essentailly the main consequences which further lessen the quilty ot soil and primarily lead to the process of soil erosion.
Now I would like to go through the first consequence, usage of heavy logging equipments on barren lands which causes compression of the soil thus making it hard which is commonly knows as ‘baked’ and therefore degrading the water holding capacity of the soil, this leads to accumulation of stagnant water and which in many cases of uneven lan would flow and cause flooding.
The other consequences are that there are less number of plants present which subsequently reduce the amunt of moisture present in the air as plants are primary cause of moisture in the air and burning of lands are among the worst consequence we can have as it adverses the biodiversity present in the area,.
