Overall, while the proportion of hours of females in both government and private sector was relatively identical, the figures of hours of males of government sector were considerably higher than private sector. Notably, proportion of women working more was not as high as it was in male sector.
Focusing on the private sector as well as government sector of men, working over 46 hours was by far the most widespread hours in both sectors, with the respective figures of 34% and 30%. This was followed by 6-12, constituting 23% in government sector, as opposed to private sector, comprising 20%. The figures of 31-45 hours in government sector were not as high as in private, making up 15% and 20%. Whereas, the figures of 13-30 of private sector were significantly higher than government sector, with the respective figures of 21% and 9%, the percentage of 1-2 hours of government sector accounted for 23%, compared to private sector, at 5%.
As for women, the proportion of 6-12 hours as well as 31-45 hours were the same, with the respective figures of 35% and 20%. This was followed by 13-30 hours and 1-2 hours, the segment of private sector made up 20% and 21, as opposed to government sector, comprising 23% and 18%. Finally, the percentage of hours higher than 46 was the same, each made up 4%.
