The bar chart below illustrates the proportion of people who concumed five portions of fruit and vegetables per day in the UK from 2001 to 2008.Overall, women was the main consumer for the all period of time, meanwhile children ate the less amount of fruit and vegetables per day.
The men consumption was just above 16 percent in 2001 and for three years didin’t show a big changes. In 2004 it started sharply increasing, and stabilased after 2006. While amount of fruit and vegetables that women were eating in this period was growing slowly till 2006, after it startes redusing.
On the other hand the percentage that kids were eating in a period of 2001 – 2003 was just above 10 untill it rased up in 2004 and got ascending pattern. From 2001 to 2008 the percentage of portions of fruit and vegetables have been etten by kids is doubled.
