Among all four leisure facilities, the cinema is preferred by all residents. About 70 percent of Australians, 65 percent of English-speaking immigrants, and 50 percent of migrants born in countries where English is not widely spoken. In contrast, the least popular place is the theatre. Only 10 percent of non-English speaking residents and between 20-25% of English speaking residents choose to see a play.
English-speaking people visited the zoo more than immigrants from non-speaking English country. In other words, more than 40 percent of English-speaking residents compared to about 35 percent of non-English speakers visited the zoo in this year. However, non-Englishspeaking migrants go to the library more than their English speaking counterparts, 55% and about 40% respectively.
