Overall, there were slightly more male students than females. A large proportion of male students studied engineering, while females were interested in business.
In terms of student distribution by gender men were leader with 52%, followed by women with 48% in 2020 at a large university.
Focusing on the subjects that they stuied among male students engineering was the popular subject with 40%, followed by business 20%. In addition both arts and humanities and science accounted for 15%, while the least common were education and other with 5%.
Among female student most common subject was business with 25%, followed by arts and humanities (20%). Science education and other subjects were 15%, whereas the least popular subject was engineering with 10%.
