Firstly, it is interesting to note that women have always earned less than men. For instance, Women have qualificaion to show that are less than high school earn approximately twelve thousand dollars when compared to men who earn around twenty two thousand dollars, having the same educational background. Similarly, Men and women who have completed high school are ten thousand dollars apart. This can basically be attributed to a variety of factors, such as working overtime, hard physical labour etc.
Secondly, it is conspiciously evident that, with an increase in qualification, the bridge in between the earnings of men and women increase as well. To exemplify, the gap in between men and women who have bachelor’s degree is twenty thousand whereas for those who have completed a graduate degree it stands at thirty thousand dollars
