Overall, it can be clearly seen that the largest monthly students expenditure was Rent(385 pounds), and the biggest percantage of sources of students income was Student loan( about 80%).
The pie chart illustrates that students spent the most on rent, which accounted 385 pounds, while spending on travel was the least common proportion at 52 pounds. The second highest cost was food, which was nearly double of socialising. All spending on other areas was under 100 pounds.
With regard to students income, a large proportion of students spent money from their student loan, around 80%. However, the diagram clearly shows that students had more than one source of income, with family and part-time jobs around 65%. The other sources – savings, bank overdraft and grants and funding accounted for a sigbificantly lower proportion of students, at approximately 40% in each case.
