Nuclear power has a huge part of our electricity system, people are getting nuclear power from uranium. The diagram illustrates how uranium is used in the production of nuclear power. Overall, the diagram provides six steps and every steps have a different process.
The first step is finding uranium, uranium is mined from the earth, so people have to work miners, after the first the next step is fuel pellets step, uranium ore is converted and enriched to make U-235 fuel pellets, the third step is making electricity, after the U-235 step it can be use for generators to make electricity.
The fourth step is waiting, after about 4 years, fuel becomes spent and is removed, the fifth step is re-process and re-use, some spent fuel can be re-processed and re-used for third step, the last is contain and bury, after the fifth step spent fuel that cannot be reprocessed is stored in containers and buried.
