The diagram illustrates the process in which the brain transmits data for a long-term memory. The information is divided into specific steps.
Overall, there are 4 crucial steps in the information storing process of the brain. Some of them are followed by the several different cases from the previous method.
Initially, when every part of our bodies such as ears, eyes or nose catch the sign of any information sources from the outer environment, those data will be sent to a reciever called Sensory Input. However, not every information will permanently stays in the brain; some would be put out, or forgotten right after this first step. Then, the survived amount will be able to transfer to the Short-Term Memory if individuals pay more attention to the information. This stage welcomes all data that haven’t been forgotten and will keep them clear in our mind for a short period of time. Right after this step is the Encoding process, when our brain have already rehearse the vision that was stored in the Short-Term Memory previously. This step enables all functions related to comprehend and analyse the recieved data, encourages us to have a more obvious image about the data for longer storage. And finally, the last stage is called Long-Term Memory. As
