The diagram illustrates how long-term memory was processed from the information was given. The process has four main stages, each of these steps play an important part.
The first step is to gather the information using human senses, for instance like from hear things or feel them. This can help people get a clear view of what information they are looking at, and without using senses, the information will be classified as forgotten memory. Next, in order to turn memories into long-term, the brain needs a lot of knowledge for a specific memory. This can be seen in how students study for their exams, they would highlight and pay attention to the lessons they learn before. In results, those lessons got turned into long-term memory. After that, the information will be played repeatedly, imagine like a person praticing for hours to remember it.
Finally, after processing enough information, the brain will automatically collect the data and turned them into long-term memory
