The maps demonstrate the changes that have taken place on an island, which has been transformed into a tourist resort after development. Overall, numerous significant transformations were observed, primarily in the central and western areas, including the construction of various accommodations and facilities, such as a reception and a restaurant. Notably, the island was made accessible via a pier built in the southern part, and all facilities are connected by a network of vehicle tracks and footpaths.
Starting with the details of the first map, the island was originally uninhabited, with most of the land being free except for some wooded areas, mainly covered with palm trees, on the eastern and western sides. A beach was situated to the west of the island.
In the latest layout, many changes are evident, including a pier serving as the entrance to the island, several hut-like tourist accommodations, the reception, a restaurant, and a former beach now designated for swimming. To the south – the point where visitors arriving by boat enter – the pier is located. From there, the vehicle track leads to the reception in the centre of a roundabout, with the restaurant situated behind it. Footpaths extend to various parts of the island, connecting the centre with the accommodations, in a circular arrangement, on either side of the reception and connecting to the beach on the left, where visitors can swim.
Regarding the remaining parts of the island, since the primary modifications were mainly in the centre and west, the eastern section remained largely unchanged. Most importantly, despite numerous construction activities, the palm trees have been preserved.
