The line graph illustrates the utilization of water globally by three different sectors of the economy across the years. Also, we have a table showing difference in water consumption in brazil and congo.
Evidently, the agriculture sector have utilized the most amount of water increasily across the years. However, the use of water domestically remained low. The country Brazil, which had a significantly higher population than Democractic Republic of Congo used more water in the year 2000.
The Agricultural department experienced a gradual increase in the use of water on 1500 kilometer squared land in 1960 but it was folllowed with a decline in 197 showing an inconsistent trend. It later experienced a steep rise from 1990 to 2000. In contrast to this, is the industrial and domestic sector which showed a consistent trend before rise.
Brazil had a population of176million in 2000 with an irrigated land of 26,500 kilometer squared which means that significant amount of water would be needed for agriculture and also for individual consumption unlike Democratic Republic of Congo which had 5.2 million population and just 100 kilometer squared land revealing that less water would be needed for agriculture following the ues of water for agriculture in that particular year.
