The line graph shows the analysis of the global use of water by sectors like agriculture, industry, and domestic use. While the table compares the consumption of water in Brazil and Congo in the year 2000.
In the line graph, the x-axis encompasses the years ranging from 1900 to 2000 with the unit of a decade. The yaxis is the volume of the land that uses water. Over the years, it has been observed that the water consumption in each sector is rising. In 1990, water consumption is near to 0 km volume of land. The agriculture sector was observed to use water significantly during that same period. Agriculture practices began to flourish and similarly, the water consumed by this sector rose to around 3000 km cube land in 2000. However, though the industrial and domestic sector also saw a rise in the usage of water, it did not significantly soured as agriculture sector.
The table clearly shows that Brazil has more population and an enlarged land used for irrigation as compared to Democratic Republic of Congo- long form to Congo. Population of Brazil is around 176 million and that of Congo is 5.2 million which is a critical comparison. Likewise, the land used for irrigation in Brazil is 26,500 square kilometers and that of Congo is 100 square kilometers. It is apparent that due to these reasons, water consumption in Brazil is more i.e 359 meters cube per person. Congo uses only 8 meter cube of water per person as per their limited needs.
