In general, the rate of regional household recycling in the UK and Germany expanded over ten years, while this rate decreased in France over ten years.
As has been noted, the percentage of regional household recycling in the UK and Germany was 35% and 20% in 2005 respectively. This percentage increased to 60% and 55% in 2015. The rate of regional household recycling in Germany rose 10% every two years, while this rate in the UK rose dramatically over the ten years. It was constant between 2009 and 2007, then it increased 15% every two years.
In contrast, the proportion of regional household recycling in France dropped sharply from 50% in 2005 to 30% in 2013. Then the proportion started to increase until it reached 40% in 2015.
