A glance at the line graph provided reveals some striking comparisons between three different countries namely, the Unites Kingdom, France and Germany regional household recycling rates during the period from 2005 to 2015 .
It is interesting to note that the United Kingdom and Germany saw significant climb in recycling waste, while in France it saw downward trend over the period.
It is evident that, increasing from approximately 35 percent in 2005 to 40 percent in 2007, UK’s household recycling rate, then maintained the same level from 2007 to 2009. This was fallowed by a period of exponential growth from 40 percent in 2009 to 55 percent in 2011. Then rose slightly with recycled waste in country reaching a peak of just over 60 percent in end of period.
Germany household recycling rate, meanwhile, went up steadily from 20 percent in 2005 to somewhere in the vicinity of 45 percent in 2011, before long growing substantially to less than 60 percent in 2015. Furthemore, recycled waste in France went down gradually from 50 percent in 2005 to 30 percent in 2013. This was fallowed by a period of exponential growth, with household recycling rate in country ending 40 percent in 2015.
