The line graph illustrate information about the average monthly change in the prices of three metals in the year of 2014.
From an overall perspective, it is noticeable that the proportion of monthly change in prices of copper and nickel demonstrates downward trend, while zinc showed fluctuating trend in the given year.
Looking at the information in more details, the percentage of nickel was 6% in january, it dramatically decreased to 1% in march then it was stable one month then showed again similar trend it dropped to -3% in month of june. After that nickel showed upward trend from -3% to -1% rose by one month then it was stable for august and september then it increased to1% by a fluctuating in the final month. Simlarly, the percentage of copper was 2% in january it genarally dropped to around -1.5% then it slowly boosted to about 1.7% in the month of december.
As can be observed from the given chart, the percentage of zinc was 1% in first month it repidly rose to 3% in one month, after that from fabruary to june it generally declined by 4% then it showed a general trend from july to october, after that the proportion of zinc repidly increased to 2% in month of december.
