The bar graph shows the ratio share of five distinct industries in the economy of Brazil every decade over a 30-year period, starting from 2009, along with future anticipations.
From an overall perspective, it is flagrant that one out five industries increased and predicted to continue until 2029. Moreover, the proportions of manufacturing and tourism industries had decreased which is bound to proceed till next decade, that of food processing and oil, coal and gas companies are forecasted to show a period of stability. It is also worth mentioning that the percentage of finance industry will be by far the highest in 2029.
Focusing on the figures of companies showing an upward and downward movement, initially, the share of finance in Brazil was accounted for almost less than a third in 2009, and it is expected to go up by virtually 10% in the next two decades. Of particular note is that the percentages of manufacturing and tourism stood at around 25% and 20%, respectively; however, it is projected that these figures will decline with corresponding figures of about a fifth and one in twenty, respectively.
As for the remaining industries, the shares of food processing and fossil fuels made up 10% in the first year, the former one doubled and the latter rose by 5% in 2019. There were predictions that both figures will return to its starting point.
