The six pie charts show the percentage of water usage in 6 different areas of the world for industrial, agricultural and domestic use.
In all areas except Europe and North America water is used mostly for agriculture. Europe and the northern part of America consumed H2O for industry(53%, 48%) followed by agriculture(32%, 39%) and domestic use (15%, 13%) respectively. In other places including South America, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia, people absorb water resources for mostly agriculture meaning that they are based on agriculture, second most water needed sectors are domestic use and industrial use with small differences between them. South America, Central Asia and Africa are the only areas that humanity consumes more water for domestic use than industries.
In overall view, it’s obvious that North American and European industry developed much better so they use more water and this water usage may determine the level of development.
