The table indicates the number of students that graduated in 2020 from the three most popular majors in the country including computer science, mechanicical engineering and business. The data has been extracted from California’s top tertiary institution and they inlude: (i) University of Southern California, (ii) University of California in Berkeley, (iii) Stanford University, and (iv) Carlifornia Technical University.
Of the three courses, majority of the students graduated from the computer science course while the least number of students graduated from the business course.
Within the computer science course, the highest number of students graduated from the California Technical University which had 930 graduates. On the other hand, the lowest number of students graduated from the University of California in Berkeley which had 230 graduates. Stanford University had 600 students graduates in the field while 240 students graduated from the University of Southern California.
Within the mechanical engineering course, the highest number of students graduated from Stanford University which had 590 graduates. On the other hand, the lowest number of students graduated from the University of California in Berkeley which had 140 graduates. University of Southern California had 150 students graduates in the field while 240 students graduated from the Carlifornia Technical University.
Within the business course, the highest number of students graduated from Stanford University which had 360 graduates. On the other hand, the lowest number of students graduated from the Carlifornia Technical University which had 90 graduates. University of Southern California had 180 students graduates in the field while 220 students graduated from the University of California in Berkeley.
