Tne graphs provide a breakdown of films released and cinema among four distinct film genres in 1996 and 2000.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the proportion of drama, comedy, and fantasy films in 2000 were much higher than in 1996. In contrast, the rate of drama films being produced remained unchanged.
As can be seen from the first graph, the figure for drama witnessed an overwhelming increase of almost 10%. Subsequently, both the figures for comedy and fantasy edged up, reaching 25% and 16%, respectively. Additionally, romance films released rate stayed the same at just over 5%.
As for the second graph, drama, comedy and fantasy ticket sales rates experienced an upward trend. Nevertheless, the reverse was true for romance, which plummeted to less than 3% in 2000. Furthermore, the figure for fantasy tripled its proportion. Simultaneously, both the proportion of drama and comedy ticket sales rose slightly.
