At first glance, it is clear that the adults spent more money on clothing compared to the youngsters. In addition, the amount of money spent on clothes in all groups of people tend to increase.
In terms of the children’s expenses on their outfits, in 1985, both boys and girls have the clothes of $100. After 20 years, the boy’s clothing prices rose slightly to $110. Likewise, the girl’s clothes costs were more noticeable with $150.
Regarding the adult’s clothes prices, women were always the group that spent the most expenditure on their appearance. In the year 1985, the males spent $300 on their outfits, while women spent almost double that money on clothes. In 1995, expenditure on men’s clothing reached a peak of $450 before an insignificant fall to $400 in 2005.
