Overall, it can be seen that the amount of water in the reservoirs in Darwin tends to decrease, while the opposite trend was true in the case of the remaining ones. In addiction, the figure for Canberra became the highest percentage of water stored in the reservoirs at the end of the period.
Regarding the water levels in 2009, Melbourne accounted for around 20% of water levels, which was lower 2 times than that of Darwin and Parth. Moreover, the proportion of water in the reservoirs in Sydney and Canberra were the highest ones, at above 80%, whereas just 60% of water levels in Brisbane.
In October 2010, Darwin’s water levels stood at 25%, which was just one fourth of Sydney’s water restored. The figures for Melbourne and Brisbane were 40% and nearly 60%, respectively. The largest rise in the proportion of water levels in the Parth’s reservoirs, reaching at 70%. Lastly, Canberra took the highest figure in October 2010, at approximately 100%.
