The given diagrams illustrate the occurrence in a library’s layout from 1975 to the present.

Overall, the library’s design has been modernized with the addition of new facilities, including computers and refreshment area. While some traditional sections, like books and magazines, have been removed.

In 1975, upon entering the library, patrons could find books and magazines to the right. Whereas two sections of new books were positioned on the left side, near to the library desk. The library’s right central area and right-hand corner were occupied by large bookshelves, with shared reading spaces located in between. Meanwhile, the children’s book section was located in the bottom-left corner, and the toilet was centrally positioned next to it – at the rear of the library.

Currently, the library has undergone significant modifications. The books and magazines section has been replaced by a row of computers on the left of the entrance. A coffee shop has been based in the middle-left section, replacing one bookshelf section and part of the shared areas. The other bookshelf remained in the same position, while the shared area has been moved to the middle-right and redesigned with tables and chairs. In addition, accessibility has been enhanced with a wheelchair ramp replacing half of the new book section near the entrance.
