Overall, rate of film released experienced a downtrend across all series of films. Though the change differ over the decades. However for percentage of cinema sales maintained a slightly deviation over the years.
In 1996, the percentage of film released declined not more than 5% each across the film. Drama had the highest percentage of 25% followed closely by 20% and fantasy 11% meanwhile romance had the smallest by 5% ‘. While for rate of cinema ticket sales, comedy witnessed the highest among the the list by 20% followed by dram 15% and romance 5%. Fantasy had the least sale which is 3% for the year.
In 2006, the percentage of film released also had the same pattern as on decades ago. Drama had the highest with 35, comedy fell behind it with 20% followed by fantasy 15 % and the lowest romance 6%. During this year the film saw a constant 10% deduction across the types. However for cinema ticket sales had the same pattern as one decade ago with comedy happened to be the zenith 23% followed by Drama 15% and the lowest 2%.
