The chart illustrates how much different fast food Australian teenagers ate throughout the time period between 1975 and 2000.
Overall, there is a clear decrease of fish and chips, whereas the amount of Hamburgers and Pizza annually eaten increased a lot. Fish and chips were the most popular fast food among teenagers in 1975, with 100 eating times in that year. However, its popularity began to decrease. Despite the slight growth to about 90 eating times in 1985, the trend continued with a steady fall, reaching just under 40 eating times per year.
Hamburgers and Pizza on the other side were not popular among the teenagers in 1975, both having about 10 annual eating times each, but from that year on, they had a gradual growth. Eventually, hamburgers and pizza became more popular than fish and chips, by the year 1990 and 1995 respectively. Hamburgers were always more popular than Pizza. By 2000 annual eating time of Hamburers is just above 100. For Pizza it is slightly above 80. As for Fish and chips this number was just below 40.
