Line chart illustrates the percentage of Australian exports with four countries. The countries shown in the graph are the Japan, US, China and the India. Moreover, the chart shows the percentage of exports over a period of 22 years.
During the first ten years from 1990 to 2000, the graph demonstrates a constant decline in the percentage of the exports. It is quite fascinating to see that the initial export percentage with japan in year 1990 was 26%, latter on after 10 years the percentage gradually decreased to 19% only. On the other hand, exports percentage with the US was the second highest and it was approximately 11% in year 1990, however, in the period of 5 years it shows a downfall to 8 %, followed by an inclined percentage making it 11% in the year 2000. Furthermore, Australian exports percentage with India and China were quite low in year 1990. However, exports of good with China rose to a 5% in 10 years, whereas, exports with India remained the same till year 2000.
On the other hand, the the remaining 12 years shows a different percentage as compared to the first 10 years. For example, export with china is on the peak with a percentage of 28% in year 2012. In-addition, export percentage with India also rose to a 5% throughout the 22 years time period. However, exports percentage with US and Japan was decreased through out these years making it a 16% for Japan and 6% with US from 1990 to 2012. Initially Japan and US had the highest percentage in 1990 as compared to India and China. But after the 22 years time span China had the highest percentage of them all.
