The table graph compares the percentages of participants in seven different sports in European country from 1999 to 2009.
Overall, Tennis and Golf witnessed a significant upward trend, and Swimming and Yoga experienced a slight increase. In contrast, the number of participants in Football and Volleyball decreased. In addition, the figure of Volleyball saw a fluctuation.
In 1999, the proportion of individuals participating in Tennis started at 25%. The figure continued rising and ended at 33% in 2009. Similarly, that of Golf surged from 8% to 17%. Additionally, the number of Swimming and Yoga participants slightly increased from 32% and 10% to 34% and 13%, respectively.
Despite of being the highest figure in 1999, the percentage of people joining Football decreased to 48% in 2009. Besides, that of Basketball documented a minor decline from 26% to 24%. Only, Volleyball participants experienced a slight rise from 17% to 20% in 2004 although in final year it went down to 18%.
