Apart from the trend of urbanlization in the world’s population, Australia’s data shows significant differences from others. Data in 1995 shows that people born in rural areas outside Australia has a higher percentage than the percentage of people born in rural areas in Australia, naturally resulting in lower percentage of people born in towns outside Australia compared to within. However, in 2010, the percentage of people born in rural areas outside Australia appeared to be lower than Australia’s data.
In summary, a substantial growth in urban population has been seen, together with the decrease of the percentage of people born in towns and rural areas.
