The bar chart illustrates the percentage of internet users in Azerbaijan from 2013 to 2020. Overall, it is clearly seen that users below 25 accounted for the highest rank over the period, while internet users above 64 was the lowest.
In 2013, users below 25 stood at 46.1% and then decreased significantly to 40.1% by 2014. The age between 25 and 34 showed a slight increase from 23.1% to 25.1%, while users between 35 and under 64 stood at 30.7% and reached 34.7% between 2013 to 2014. In addition, users under 25 maintained the highest level 42.9% in 2015 and 42.5% in 2016. Additionally, both users between 25-34 and 35-64 reached 25% and 32.4%, respectively in the years of 2015-2016.
By 2017, internet users below 25 stood at 41.9% and showed a slight change to 40.4% in 2018, whereas users between 25 and under 34 moderately rose from 25.2% to 26.3%. There was a mild increase in users between 35 to 64 in 2018 and In 2019, and then surge significantly to 44.2% over the year. A downward trend shows in users below 25 from 39.3% to 30.1% in 2020, users above 65 just accounted for a small percentage at the end of the period.
In conclusion, users below 25 maintained the initially, whereas users between 25-34 was the lowest percentage over the given period. In 2020, internet users above 64 was lower than other users.
