Overall, what stands out from the chart is that albeit to varying degrees the numbers of users between 25-34 and users between 34-65 experienced a growth while the reverse could be said about that of users under 25 throughout the given period . Of particualr note is that users over 64 just commenced to use internet in 2020.
Focusing on the upward trends first, figures of users between 25-34 stood at 23.1% in 2013, then along with some fluctuations, the numbers increased insignificantly to 25 % by 2016, after which it witnessed a slight rise to 26.3 % in 2018, prior to going down to 23.2% by 2020. As far as users between 34-65 are concerned, it was reported to stand at 30.7% in 2013. However, the index rose slightly to 32.4% by 2016, followed by 33.2% in 2018 and plummeted to 44.2 In the final year.
Turning to the downward trend, it could be seen that percentage of under 25 year olds accounted for 46.1% in the first year, then began to decline to 42.5% in 2016 and to 40.4% in 2018. At last, it underwent a downfall to 30.1% in 2020. Whent it comes to the users over 65 years, it only emerged in 2020 and accumulated for approximately 5% at mere.
