The bar chart compares the amount of money invested in four categories – machinery, building, staff training and research – by five different organisations.
Overall, Organisation B spent the most money across the categories, particularly on building, while Organisation D and Organisation E generally invested smaller amounts. Spending patterns varied considerably between organisations, especially in the areas of building and research.
In terms of machinery, investment levels ranged from about 0.8 billion euros in Organisation E to approximately 1.5 billion euros in Organisation A. Organisation B also allocated a substantial amount to this category, at around 1.4 billion euros. For building, Organisation B stood out clearly, spending nearly 2 billion euros, which was significantly higher than all other organisations. By contrast, Organisation A and Organisation D invested under 1 billion euros in this area.
Looking at staff training, Organisation C recorded the highest figure, at roughly 1.3 billion euros, followed by Organisation B at about 1.1 billion euros. Meanwhile, Organisation D spent the least on staff training, with just over 0.6 billion euros. A similar pattern can be seen in research, where Organisation E led with around 1 billion euros, whereas Organisation D again allocated the lowest amount, at approximately 0.6 billion euros.
