Scotland people choosing hotel and self-catering were the same, with over 50% and 30%, respectively. However, the percentage of caravans and camping was the opposite of the UK.
The proportion of people selecting hotels was the highest at nearly 50% in Wales, compared to the lower figure for Northern Ireland at 45%. By contrast, Wales people enjoyed self-catering rather than Northern Ireland, with 28% and over 10%, respectively. However, the percentage of caravans rented in Northern Ireland was also higher than that in Wales.
