The bar charts illustrate the usage of smartphones , tablets, laptops, and E-readers among Australian citizense from different generations in 2008 .

Overall, it is clear that the use of E-readers did not had a much of popularity among individuals between the age 12-75 . In contrast, it raeched its highest peak between elderly people from the age 76 and above. In addition , smartphones are used more from a young age 12- 24 , but slightly decrease as going beyound 25 .

To start with , the most noticeable increase was in obtaining E-readers as it was only around 5 from 12-75 , but showed a big change between elderly people to reach around 61 . Furthermore , smartphones were used more between 12-24 years old with around 65 , but decreases to 40 and finaly less then 10 between 76 years old and above . Laptops and tablets were much staible comparing to other features as tablets were approximatly 35 , but declined to 5 among old people , and laptops incresed to 30 while it was only 5 between 12-50 years old
